(More customer reviews)This has a lot of detailed information on the imperial government, however the military aspects are lacking. If you want simple information such as the statistics of a TIE-Bomber or a how many squadrons and troops a Star Destroyer carries, you won't find that information here. Worse yet, the order of battle diagrams that take up several pages appear to use symbols that weren't included on the key. At best, it's a good look at the Empire from a broad perspective. At worst, it's vague and unhelpful.
This is also the older edition of the book. If you want the latest edition, you should look at the hard cover, ISBN 0-87431-210-8.
