(More customer reviews)I'll first start by saying I don't have this edition. But I did get the comics as they came and this is just a collection of those.
The adaptation from the Zahn novels to comics were just kind of okay. The artwork was good but not exceptional. Because they did each book in the trilogy in about 6 issues, you're left kind of wanting. If you've never read the books (Heir to the Empire, Dark Force Rising, and The Last Command) you might come away from this a little confused. They had to leave out most subplots and some character development because of space.
Basically, it gave us a visual guide to the original novels. I always enjoy seeing artists take on these characters. But if you really want to enjoy the story, buy the books and then get this.
