I have a 10 years old boy and I have borrowed the first book in this Star Wars Science Adventures ,Emergency in Escape Pod Four (Star Wars Science Adventures),from the local library. The combination between text and drawings grabbed my attention so I have start reading this book. The results was that I could not wait to get the sequel which is the "Journey Across Planet X".
If you are really interested in your children scientific education get these books as soon as you can.I believe in multidisciplinary education (you can see some of my projects at [...]) and I was really impressed by this two little books.I am surprised to see that nobody else reviewed them yet.
The action is not complicated and the end of each chapter will make you curious to read right away the next one.The style is alert, full of dialogue and a ton of scientific facts ingeniously inserted in the text.I must confess that reading these books I felt almost the same thrill I had some 40 year ago when I read Joules Verne.
I wish I could read more books like this but I am afraid that ,since the book was published in 1999,there will not be another sequel.
